AMBRANE DOTS MUSE WIRELESS HEADSETS

I made my shift to this headset after a bad experience of the headset earbuds getting stuck in my ear accidentally. Not wanting to go through the pain of getting stuck earbuds removed, I decided to look into open fit headsets. Thats when I stumbled upon this product which was budget friendly & with a good appearance.

The Ambrane Dots Muse Wireless Headset is a sleek and stylish audio device that delivers an immersive audio experience. It is designed to provide comfort, convenience, and high-quality sound. In this review, we will explore the features, design, and performance of this headset

DESIGN & BUILD

The Ambrane Dots Muse Wireless Headset has a sleek and ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to wear for long hours. The earbuds are made of high-quality materials that are durable and lightweight. The earbuds are also IPX4 Water resistant , making them ideal for use during workouts or outdoor activities.

For certain workout cases, the normal mount of the ear buds do not provide a snug fit as one would get in an ear bud. In these cases, swapping the ear buds on to the other ear & mounting it upside down over the ear gives a very perfect fit even while driving & work outs.

FEATURES

The Ambrane Dots Muse Wireless Headset comes with a host of features that make it a great audio device. Below are the features

  • The Headsets come with a very compact design in a plastic circular magnetic case. Its so compact that It can be slipped easily into the pockets
  • The case has an Led indicator to show charge & charging status. It also has type c charging port
  •  Both the ear sets have touch controls that can be used to play / pause / skip media, attend / disconnect calls or even invoke voice assistants
  • Powered by Blutooth 5.1, the headset is energy efficient & can reach out to a decent range of transmission.
  • The box contains User Manual, the TWS ear sets, charging case and a short charging cable.

REAL WORLD PERFORMANCE

Having been using the headset for a little more than a year, giving below a few features

BATTERY

The battery life is good, in the sense I have never run out of battery. I use the headset for all my calls, Music & Movies & I can easily cover a 2 to 3 days with a single charge.

RANGE

The range too is decent as I'm able to walk around upto 10 meters during my calls while leaving my phone or laptop at the table.

FIT

Due to the absence of ear buds, it sometimes feels slippery but once we figure out the perfect posture, it fits well. For best fit during workouts or driving, swapping the ear buds with the other ear & mounting it upside down provides a snug fit that feels secure. This work around personally seems fair considering the case where ear buds get stuck in the ear.

Normal Mount               Snug Fit

SOUND QUALITY

For the price, the sound quality is decent. Although the headset cannot be compared with the premium brands, it offers a good balance of sound quality at a good price

CONTROLS

The actions can be invoked by touching the back.

Touch and hold    - Skip to next / previous song, Switch Off / On

Single tap             - Pause playback / Answer or Disconnect call

Double tap           - Increase / Decrease volume

Triple tap              - Invoke voice assistant
